3VA Auxiliary Switches and Trip/Bell Alarm Switches [ HP (High Power) versus HQ (High Quantity)]

All Auxiliary Switches and Trip/Bell Alarm Switches are form C: both NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed).

They are available in two versions: High Quantity (HQ) and High Power (HP).

HQ switches are 7 mm wide and take 1 slot in the internal accessory compartment of the breaker, and HP switches are 14 mm wide and take 2 slots. They are very easy to install and uninstall.

Both switch versions can be combined in a molded case circuit breaker. HQ and HP switches have the same functionality, but differ in terms of the following features:

? Connections
– HQ: One conductor per contact point
– HP: Two conductors per contact point possible (two screw terminals support one internal contact point)

? Key electrical data
– HQ: max. 300 V AC, max. 6 A
– HP: max. 600 V; max. 10 A

HQ switches are also available in a version suitable for lower-level electronic signals (HQ electronic).

The auxiliary switches suitable for electronics (HQ electronic) are optimized for switching low voltages and currents and are well-suited for digital inputs and outputs used in PLC controllers.
