How Order Processing Works
•To View line items being submitted for order
•Users will need to turn on the Show Child Lines” option on the manager order screen in COMPAS
.png)
•Only child lines will be submitted for order, the main line item will not pass, as Siemens will be providing the parts for configured lines, but not assembling in the factory.
•COMPAS will do a parts check to ensure over consumption does not take place.
•Siemens has minimum parts Quantities for orders being placed.
•COMPAS will do a check within each order to check if parts being ordered between lines are covered by a previous line item.
•If the parts are covered by a previous line item, the corresponding lines will be marked as “cancelled” so they are not processed on the order, but still show for alignment purposes
