UL standards such as UL 489 and UL 1066 mandate that if a circuit breaker is not suitable for reversed line and load connections, the products must be marked "LINE" and "LOAD."
WL circuit breakers have been successfully tested with forward and reverse feed directions, and therefore not marked with "LINE" and "LOAD" markings, and may be fed from either set of terminals.
However, as a reminder, additional protective functions such as WL Metering Function PLUS are preconfigured to read metering data such that the assumed default direction of power flow is from the upper terminals to the lower terminals (load side assumed the lower terminals). If the direction of power flow differs, then the user will need to change the directional power flow setting within the WL Metering Function PLUS module to ensure the metering data is accurately captured.
