COMPAS Go Release : October 19, 2020


This articles details the information on the knowledge base releases for the month of October 2020. Release is done for Panelboard and Switchboard.

  • Trip Unit Type: Thermal-Magnetic (TMTU)

  • 125A max trip

  • Trip settings: 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 125

  • Poles:

  • 1 pole

  • 1 pole in 2-pole frame option

  • 2 pole 

  • 3 pole

  • AL and Copper lugs are available with AL lugs installed 
  • 3VA41 breakers are available to series rated applications 

Main Breaker

  • 3VA41 main breaker is available to P2

  • Main Space mounting in P2 as the main

Branch Breaker

  • 3VA41 breakers are available as branch breakers in P2, P3, P4, P5

  • Panelboard pricing in COMPAS Go will change to a new format on October 19, 2020

  • Panelboard lines will have the following changes:

    • Box (Can) and Front (trim) will be type matched or set to standard catalog number(s) if applicable

    • Box or Front on a project will always match the channel partner’s stock price

    • Pricing for Box or Front will be set to the channel partner’s into stock discount and will be non-negotiable

    • Panelboard pricing will be based on the same discounts as of today, only panelboard interior price can be negotiable

  • The process will be the same for configuring a panelboard

  • Panelboard line reconfiguration required for all saved or existing lines

  • All saved lines will be flagged as redlines and flagged with “KB Version Mismatch”

  • A tool for converting Panelboard current pricing structure to the new structure is available

  • In general, COMPAS quoting, configuration and order entry process is the same

  • More detailed information is available with COMPAS support and announcement

3VA Updates

  • Add 3VA41 (125A Thermal Magnetic) & 3VA62 (250A Solid State)

  • Select ETU820 or ETU830 when Neutral Sensor and Ground Fault required

  • Add TD300 Power Supply recommendation note

  • Add 3VA provision note on drawing & estimate sheet

Russelectric ATS

  • Remove bypass type switches

  • Display connection type selection

  • Update pricing description & qty calculations

  • Price based on ‘build-as’ when 100KAIC

  • Correct conflict on 4000A ATS

Disconnect

  • Default SEM3 on branches added below incoming when SEM3 selected @ SBD level

Drawing Updates

  • Corrected error with PPL pull section notes

  • Add special skids note

  • Add 3VA provision note

  • Update 3VA one-line drawing

  • Add 1S-8500-38 & 1S-8500-42 notes

  • Add Salt River Project warning message

Enclosure

  • Update NEMA 3R selections from East Coast/West Coast to Sloped Roof/Flat Roof

  • Change default N3R style to Flat Roof (formerly known as West Coast)

Incoming

  • Add 3600A SRP incoming selection, when utility is Salt River Project and 4000A incoming is selected

Pricing

  • Update N3R descriptions for flat/sloped roof

  • Add SRP 3600A message

  • Add 3VA41 & 3VA62

  • Add PPL pull section incoming indication

  • Update Russelectric ATS key descriptions (previous version missed some detail)

  • Add sorting to Russelectric keys to group correctly

  • Correct error where some Russelectric keys were missing qty

SMM

  • Prevent selecting 120/240 @ 100KAIC xGG breakers

Technical

  • KB Version: 01.01.49.01

  • New default to “Flat Roof” formerly “West Coast” weatherproof

  • “Sloped Roof” formerly “East Coast” weatherproof is still available as an option

  • Flat roof will give you the better price vs. Sloped

3VA52 250A, Thermal Magnetic, 3VA61 150A & 3VA62 250A – Electronic Trip

  • Replace Sentron FD & VL DG/FG frames

  • Dual mount any combination of the 3 breakers utilizing 5.00” of unit space

  • Share the same strap kit reference Speedfax for catalog numbers

3VA41 125A, Thermal Magnetic breaker

  • Replacing xGB

  • Dual mount, utilizing 3.75” Unit Space

  • 3VA52 250A, Thermal Magnetic, 3VA61 150A & 3VA62 250A – Electronic Trip
