COMPAS SIScan - Overview


This article describes the SIScan - A revolutionary productivity tool to read panel schedule specifications document (in PDF format) and automatically configure all the Panelboards/Loadcenter in COMPAS. SIScan circuits and layout the Panelboards per specifications and create quote bid documents (drawings and proposal) for a job. Entire process is automated with tools to review the read specifications in wizard driven steps saving time for creating more accurate and winning job bids.

1. Login into COMPAS with valid credentials

2. Create a new quote or open an existing quote

    Create new quote -  

    Open existing quote - 

3. Make the quote as editing "ON" 

4. From the action menu, click on the "Add Product" 

5. Click on the option for SIScan

6. On doing so, the user is navigated to the following page for uploading the PDF document

Clicking on the global setting, following page will be provided to the user for selection. On setting the attributes, the information is populated for all the configuration.

7. Select the file you need to upload from your system

8. User has two options before uploading

a. All pages
b. Specific pages

9. Clicking on the upload button, the following information is displayed to the used to view the progress of upload document.

10. Completion of upload is shown as 

11. Click on the "Review & Configure" button, the specification available in the document can be viewed as line item.

12. Once all the changes are confirmed, the user has to accept the terms and click on the submit button.

13. On doing so the progress of updation is shown to the user as below by locking the configurations.

14. Completion is shown to the user as 

15. Clicking on the close button at the bottom will add the Loadcenter configuration to the quote.
