- We are requiring tech review anywhere a user uses a legacy FXD or DG where 3VA is a default this is in P3, P4, P5 panels and switchboards
- We have ensured 3VA41 is the most competitively priced breaker vs. xGB in P1

- To use FXD or DG, you will need to enter in a valid reason into the line items notes. If no reason is provided, the quote will be rejected
- If there is a reason to use xGB namely due to selective coordination, special pricing consideration can be considered with a pricing note or it can be placed in a P2

- 3VA41 (125A low tab/bolt on) is available P1
- 3VA52 (250A thermal magnetic breaker) is available in P3,P4,P5, SWBD
- 3VA53 (400A thermal magnetic breakers) is available in P1
- 3VA61 (150A electronic trip breaker) is available in P4,P5,SWBD
- 3VA63 (400A electronic trip breaker) is available in P1

- 3VA41 defaults in P1
- 3VA52 defaults in COMPAS when qty>=3 is selected on any 250A breaker selection
- 3VA61 defaults in COMPAS in P4, P5, SWBD
- 3VA62 will default Aug. 2020 in P4, P5, SWBD
- 3VA53/63 defaults in P1

One of the easiest ways is to match the dropdown of the upstream breaker to the downstream panel

Yes, 3VA41 breakers are available in UPB, they have been superseded P17 series with P18 and this version accepts 3VA41

Yes, as of the end of July 3VA TCCs are available from the major software including SKM, Easypower, ETAP and EasyTCC. If they are not part of the standard library yet, you can send a request to the vendor add 3VA to your library

- For field provisions with 3VA52, 62, 62 in P4, P5 and SWBD we had to add bus extensions to the breakers. The S3VA52PR kit will need to be ordered in addition to the breaker.
- For 3VA52 in a P3 Twin Mount – Hardware kit # BBKVA52P3HW is required in addition to the Breaker to add to an available provision.
