Expanded Surge Protection Devices

Expanded Surge Protection Devices in the TPS Product Family – Externally mounted SPD’s.

Our TPS Commercial SPD product line has expanded to include additional SKUs that match or exceed the performance of the existing TPS products.  The existing TPS3 SPDs will be complimented with the new TPS4 SPDs.  The previous phase of this expansion covered internally mounted SPD’s.  This new phase is now covering externally mounted SPD’s. The TPS4- 03, 09, 11 & 13 can be externally mounted on Panelboards, Switchboards and Switchgear.  

The new TPS4 SPDs provide Siemens with a flexible supply chain, the customer with a lower price and expanded performance specifications for the product line.  Included in this communication are links to the TPS4 data sheets.  Please note that the TPS4-13 provides an alternate solution to the TPS3-12 products that DO NOT include a disconnect.  Additionally, certain voltage codes are available to order immediately, the remaining voltage codes will be available early Q1 FY23.

Lastly, we are launching two new residential SPD’s.

• FSPD140
• FSPD036

The FSPD140 which is equivalent in features and protection to our current offering and the new low-cost option FSPD036.  This budget friendly addition will only come in voltage code A and will cover two modes of protection. The FSPD060 and FSPD100 will also be available in early Q1 FY23.
