In an effort to provide greater information reliability and transparency of current replenishment lead times for standard products:
Effective today, January 23, 2023, the most up-to-date standard product lead times will display consistently across our customer facing tools. COMPAS, Net Price Download as accessed via Industry Mall, and IDW / DDS / Trade Service will all reflect the most current lead times. Note that these changes don’t affect the configured products.
COMPAS Catalog and new quotes will reflect this change starting today. Existing open quotes will reflect the latest lead time in Shipping screen before converting to order.
Given the current supply chain environment, these tools will reflect the total replenishment lead times for all standard materials, including those that we intend to stock and that may indeed ship sooner than lead time. Please note our stocking strategy hasn’t changed; we will continue to stock and ship as quickly as possible, as we do today. The change to reflect total replenishment lead times is to provide our partners with the most accurate replenishment information in instances where we are out of stock. For the most accurate information about current stock position, we recommend utilizing the product availability check on the COMPAS Go Quote or Pricing screens.
