How to configure LVS Switchgear in COMPAS Go?

This article describes the steps to configure switchgear in COMPAS Go.

1. Login into COMPAS with valid credentials

2. Create a new quote or open an existing quote

    Create new quote -  

    Open existing quote - 

3. Make the quote as editing "ON" 

4. From the action menu, click on the "Add Product" 

5. Click on the "" for the "Type WL LV Switchgear" under the Low Voltage Switchgear section as shown below.

Note: Clicking on the "" can add it to the favorites.

6.  On clicking the , following configuration page opens for the user.

7. After entering the required fields in the swtichgear tab, move to "Main/Branch" tab.

: Is used for deleting / price check / configure / duplicate / delete the node

: is used to add a child to the existing node

8. After completion of required configuration, the configuration tree looks like 

9. After completing the configuration, move to the "Layout/Design" tab

This tab is used to visualize the configuration with options for 

1. View/Advance Edit : Graphical representation
2. Electrical View: Electrical drawing information
3. Manual Layout: Used for re-designing the layout
4. Drawing Details: Information for drawing
5. Drawing: Drawing report

10. Split up of components along with price percentage in the configuration can be viewed in the "Detailed Price Report"

11. On completion of configuration, the same can be added as line item to the quote.

1. New : Used to open up a new configuration
2. Save: Save the changes to the opened configuration
3. Save As: Save as new line item
4. Save & New: Save the current configuration and open up a new configuration
5. Delete Layout: Use to re-draw the layout after making changes
6. Close: Close the configuration
7. Download AutoCAD [not enabled]
8. Download Revit Zip File [not enabled]

13. Clicking on the product ID will open up the product details
