3. For the EIS sales team the following fields are required
- End User – It is important that we capture end account information for all opportunities. Doing so enhances our ability to identify service opportunities, plan resources effectively, and conduct valuable data analysis. End accounts can include building owners, developers, tenants, hospitals, universities, data centers, and more.
- Contractor – Add all contractors that are bidding this opportunity. Please ensure that the winning contractor is set as primary prior to closing out the opportunity. The contractor marked primary will be the one displayed on submittals and drawings, so ensure this is updated prior to order entry.
- Consultant –Enter the electrical engineer of record for the drawings. If this is a design/build opportunity, the contractor can be named as both the contractor and the consultant. The consultant marked as primary will be the one displayed on submittals and drawings.
- EPC/General Contractor – Add all GCs that are bidding this opportunity. Mark the GC with the best chance of winning (estimate) as primary. Please ensure that the winning GC is set as primary prior to closing out the opportunity.
- Notes/Description – This should be a short concise paragraph outlining the opportunity project scope/application, and continue to provide updates on key milestones.

4. After entering all the pertinent information click the “Create Opportunity” button. This will only be selectable once the required fields have been entered.
5. COMPAS will check in the quote and send the data to SieSales and create an opportunity. Once the opportunity has been created, the CRM Opportunity ID and CRM Quote ID fields will populate. To go to the newly created opportunity click on the Open In SieSales icon.
6. Each time a user turns editing off, COMPAS will sync the updated data with SieSales. Please note, that if you make a change in SieSales while the COMPAS quote has editing on – the next time you turn editing off it will override SieSales with the information in the COMPAS quote.
