How to replace the trip solenoid for a WL breaker?
1. With the trip unit removed from the breaker, disconnect the trip solenoid from X22.
2. With the trip unit on the table, pry down the plastic tab and push the trip solenoid from the back until it can be slid out. Note the path of the wires.
3. Feed the connector and wires back into the opening.
4. Install the new trip solenoid, pushing down on the latch and pushing until the tab snaps into place, securing the solenoid in position.
5. Connect the new trip solenoid to X22 on the ETU. This video is meant only to enhance, not replace, the operating instructions enclosed with every product.
