How to set the designation of line item in quote?

This article describes the steps to change the designation of the products added as line item in a quote. 

1. Login into COMPAS Go with valid credentials.

2. Open the quote in editing "ON" with line items with standard product / configurable products.

3. Click on the "" icon for standard product or configurable product.

    >  Standard products designation is defaulted to "Standard Product".

    >  Configurable product will have the designation as provided during the configuration/reconfiguration.

4. On clicking the icon  following window will pop up to change the designation. The window heading will be the line item number along with product ID.

5. After the entering the required designation, clicking on the save button will refresh the information in the quote page against the line item. Also tool tip is provided to view the entire designation.
