How to use quote editing ON/OFF feature in COMPAS Go?

This article describes the option in COMPAS Go to edit the quote by turning it ON and making the quote as read-only by turning the editing OFF.

1. Login into COMPAS Go with valid credentials

2. Create a new quote and add line items or open an existing quote with line items.

    Create new quote -  

    Open existing quote - 

3. Make the quote as editing as  

> Quote details and line items will be in read only mode. User cannot make any changes.

> Global notes can be edited

4. Make the quote as editing 

> User can modify the quote details and line items. All the options in the action menu can be performed.

5. After the user make necessary changes turn OFF the editing option. The changes will be reflected in all the references. Also the information is available in desktop version.

Note: 

1. After making changes, if Editing is still ON, the changes will be saved on the server but it will not be visible for other authorized users and they cannot work on this quote.
2. After making changes, if Editing is turned OFF, then other authorized users can see the changes to the current quote and they can work.
