Quotation PLT : Definite Purpose (DP) Contactors in COMPAS Go

This article describes the steps to get Siemens products to replace other manufacturers products for DP contactors/controls.

This option is available in Cross Reference tool in COMPAS Go. DP contactors are electrically operated switching devices. They are used for switching a power or control circuit, and are typically controlled by automatic (thermostat) control or manual (pushbutton) interfaces.

1. Login into COMPAS Go with valid credentials.

2. Select the "Cross Reference Tool" from the task menu

3. On doing so, the user gets navigated to the following page.

4. Select the Definite Purpose Controls from the drop down menu.

5. After selecting the DP controls, enter the competitor products in the search box. For example, Ex9CK32A20F7 from Noark

6. Click on the "More Info" against the Siemens catalog number, to get more information.

7. On doing so, the following page is available for the user.
