Surge Protection for P1 Panelboards. TPS4 01/L1 Surge Protection

The new TPS4 01 series devices have additional properties. Voltage Code W applies to a new voltage, 220/127V 3 Ph, 4W.  The Surge Current Additional Ratings are 40=400ka per phase and 50=500ka per phase. 

P4 and P5 panelboards will also use the TPS4 Surge Devices soon (TPS4 05 and TPS4 06 series)

The TPS4 Surge Device is incompatible with the old style “original” P1 or S1 panelboards. 

Busway and Motor Control Centers adoption of the TPS4 01 series is in process.  Design is approved & available.
