This article describes the steps to be followed on a quote to create a change order or change request.

1. Check to see if any components of the product has shipped by viewing the Order Status report in COMPAS.

                   a) If there is shipping information then a change request cannot be created.

                   b) If there are no shipments go to step 2.

       2.  Using the order number check the order in SAP to see if there is an active production/purchase order against any of the lines of the product in ?

                   a) If there is an active production/purchase order against any of the lines have it cancelled.

        3.  You are now ready to create a change request.
