Manage Customer Products - Overview


This article provides detailed information on the customer products to perform the following action

1. Add / Edit / Delete customer products in COMPAS Go

2. Import and export of customer products.


How to add new family for grouping customer products?

1. Click on the customer product in the task menu and will be directed to the customer product page.

2. Click on the "Manage Family" and enter the required family name

Option is also available to delete the family. It can be done by clicking on the "" icon.

Note: This drop-down can be used to switch families to view products categorized against each family.


How to add new customer products against a family? 

1. Select the family to which customer products need to be added.

    

Note: Above option is available when adding the first production. For adding subsequent product use the following option

    

2. Following window opens to add new customer product information 

    

Click save to add the product to the family. On successful creation, the newly added product will be available on the table.

    

Note: Changing customer product will not affect the quote approval status 


How to edit a customer product against a family? 

1. Navigate to the customer product page and select the required family 

2. Click on the edit icon as shown below

3. On clicking the following dialog opens with pre-filled information.

    

Modify the fields and click on the update button.On successful update, the details of the product will be displayed in the table as shown below.


How to delete a customer product against a family? 

1. Navigate to the customer product page and select the required family 

2. Deletion can be done individually or multiple selection

    

3. Click on the delete icon. Delete confirmation box will appear. On acknowledging the product is deleted from the family.

    


How to import/export customer product?

1. To export the customer products,click on the "Export CSV" as shown below. On doing so, the following is available to select the family names. After selection, click continue.  

Customer product is downloaded to the local system as shown below.

2. To import the following file into customer products, click on the import CSV ""

Clicking on the button, user gets option to select the file. Select the file and import. On doing so, the user is notified.

Selecting the family name, all the customer products can be viewed as shown below.
