A quote / order can be searched by many parameters associated with the quote / order. It can be searched by any user and can be viewed. If the user has access, then the user can open the searched quote/order.

There are 3 variations of filtering the required quote for the user.

1. Search Filter (basic)
2. Advanced Filter
3. Line item based 

Variation 1: Search Filter (basic filter)

Basic level of filter the quote / order can be done based on the following criteria.

1. Based on Quote Name
2. Based on Job Name
3. Based on Quote Number
4. Based on Order Number based on sales order or purchase order
5. Based on Quote type [Quote / order / ECR - quote / ECR - order / ICR - quote / ICR - order]
6. Based on created or modified date range
7. Based on created by user 
8. Based on sold to account
9. Based on contractor
10. Based on  End user

Search results for quote name is shown below.

The above snippet of the image show search by use of " * ".  Search results will display last 250 quotes that is available for the user.

Any specific search can also be done using the techniques written in the search Techniques by providing the correct data and selected parameter.

For eg. - search via Date range, here we can search using specified range say 15 August 2019 to 15 August 2019. Please look the search screen snippet attached.

While selecting the "From" date, the "To" date is automatically set to the current date and can be changed based on requirement 

Note: Reset can be done at any time by clicking on the reset button and further search can be done using any search techniques the with specified set of data and result can be found after clicking search button, if available.  

Variation 2: Advanced Filter

Advanced search criteria for filtering the quote / order can be done based on the following.

1. Based on initial sales review
2. Based on Job status 
3. Based on Scenario
4. Based on Opportunity ID
5. Based on Quote criteria [Defect or checked out by me]
 

Variation 3: Line Item Filter 

Line item search criteria for filtering the quote / order can be done based on the following.

1. Based on Family
2. Based on Sub-Family 
3. Based on Product List
4. Based on Technical Status
5. Based on Plant
6. Based on Pricing Status
7. Based on Hold Status
8. Based on OE Status
9. Based on Lead time review
10.Based on Quick Ship
 

Save Filter for search quote:

Options is available to save the search criteria. Click of the "Save Filter" and enter a name of the search for your reference.

Saved filters can be viewed by clicking on the "Manage" button
