The answer to the ? is “it depends”.  If WL LVS is properly applied and maintained, there isn’t any reason it can’t see a 35+ year life expectancy. 

A good maintenance schedule and regular inspections are required to keep electrical equipment in good working order and maximize its life expectancy.  Another critical factor that affects electrical equipment life expectancy is temperature (heat).  Refer to *Siemens TechTopics No. 15 (written by Ted Olsen) for a more detailed discussion on how temperature affects the life expectancy of electrical equipment.
