Quote can have multiple line items. Shuffling or rearranging the line item based on customer need is possible. This article describes the steps to do so.

1. Login into COMPAS with valid credentials

2. Create a new quote or open an existing quote

    Create new quote -  

    Open existing quote - 

3. Make the quote as editing "ON" 

4. From the action menu, click on the "Add Product" . After adding products, following is how the page will be for the user.

5. To re-arrange the line items, select the button "Move Line Items"

6. On clicking the button, following dialog window pops up for the user.

7. Following options are available for the user for moving single or multiple line items.

i. By Step 1 [available for single line selection]

After selection of line item, it can be moved up or down in the increment of one line.

ii. Above Line #: User can select one or more line and then enter the line item above which the selected line items has to be moved. Click on the "Move" button

Following shows the selected line items are moved above "1300" line #

iii. Below Line #: User can select one or more line and then enter the line item below which the selected line items has to be moved. Click on the "Move" button

Following shows the selected line items are moved below "1300" line #

           iv. Drag and Drop: Clicking on the green circle and then dragging/dropping in the required place will move the line.

           The user has an option to drag and drop the lines  anywhere (top, bottom, middle). Move the cursor/hover the mouse pointer to the left side of the checkbox. Hand icon appears and left click- drag and drop to the desired location.

8. After the rearrangement is done, click on the apply button. The same changes will be reflected in the quote page.
