This article explains the steps for the "Quotation personnel learning track" users to create quote in COMPAS Go.

In COMPAS GO create quote is termed as "Create Project". It allows user to create quote for “Field Sales Engineers” and “Distributors”. It helps to organize the quotes created.

1. Login into COMPAS with valid credentials, or Single Sign on with Siemens ID (Click here)

2. On providing valid credentials and clicking on the "sign in", the user will be navigated to the following Home page.

Note: Home page now has option to inform users on the new announcements / feature releases in COMPAS.

3. Click on the task menu and then select the "Create Project" option.

4. Enter the required information in the following page

Sold to account: use the "pencil" icon to search for a new Sold to Account, or the "clock" to choose from a list of your 10 most recently used Sold to Accounts. 

Job Name: each quote must have a unique name

Quote name auto-filled with Job Name

Market Segment: required field

Scenario is auto-filled based on sold to account

5. After completing the above information, select "Create" button.

Note, Create button is greyed out until required fields have been met.

6. On successful creation, quote is created. It can be seen as shown below

Also, the same can be view in the recent quotes in the home page

Now you are done with quote creation or project creation.
