Specifications will often times call for a "Power Systems Study."  A PSS is made up of various engineering analysis investigations. The goal of each is to have a safe, efficient and reliable power system for your facility under both normal and abnormal conditions.  Siemens can supply a PSS but it will take a few days and the price will vary.

1. If the specifications call for a "Power Systems Study" save the page with a red box around the specification as it"s own PDF.
2. Save the riser diagram or one-line diagram as well.
3. Send the PDFs to the email address mailto: btstartupandcommissioning.industry@siemens.com and ask for a Power Systems Study (politely, of course).
4. The building technologies team will return a PDF with a price within a few days.  Add this price as a Manual Line Item to your COMPAS quote.  For instructions on how to add a manual line item, see the related article.
5. Make sure to attach the Power Systems Study quote PDF with your proposal when sending to a customer.
