How to use the "Save and Next" feature in COMPAS Go configuration?

This article provides information on the "save & next" in panelboard configuration in COMPAS Go.

1. The "Save and Next" feature in COMPAS is a useful tool when quoting Panelboards that have similar specifications but different types and quantities of devices.  It allows you to save many options such as Bus Material, System Voltage, Name Plates, AIC rating, without saving placed devices.

2. If the next Panelboard you are going to configure has similar features to one you just laid out, select "Save and Next" from the drop down menu in the top right.  In this example the bus material is copper, the system interruption rating is 22,000, and the devices placed are (42) 20 amp 1 pole breakers.

3. The pictures below show the main panel menu and device menu before and after selecting "Save and Next."  Notice how the system interruption rating and material remain the same rather than changing back to the default settings of 10,000 and Aluminum.  Also notice how the devices have been removed.

5. AFTER

6. Using Save and Next allows the user to configure multiple Panelboards in a row without having to change all the settings every time.  When the user finishes configuring the last panelboard, press "Save and Close" to return to the home screen.
