Attached are the installation instructions for the 3VA9*77-0TB10 (COM060) accessory for the 3VA 250 and 400a circuit breakers frames.

Pay special attention to the frame size and using the appropriate Communications Adapter

If the communication adaptor is not installed there will be communication up to the COM060 which can give breaker status (open/closed), but there will be no ability to communicate with any of the data from the ETU.

The ETU may or may not be illuminated. If they are only energizing the display from the COM060 it will be turned off. But if they have another device such as the MMB or EFB the display will be energized from those components.

Make note of the difference in the location of the offset which the device clip will snap into with RED ARROWS.
