This article details the extended copy option of line items in COMPAS Go. This feature will be enabled for Sales Support Coordinator user community.
1. Some of the prerequisite for this extended copy feature is given below.
- Copy of line items is from approved quotes only
- Target quotes that will have the copied lines, need to have the same "Sold to Account" as the source quote
- Copied lines will carry forward the "line number / notes / documents / pricing approval / discounts / review status / report groups" assigned to the respective lines
- Users can do copy and special insert from one source quote only
2. Copy the required lines from the approved quote as shown below. Use the copy button.

Note: Lines have attached documents, notes, review is completed and price approved
3. Now create a new quote or use an existing quote with the same "Sold to Account"

4. Following is a quote that is newly created. Quote used is "Special_Copy_paste" for reference.

Sold to account is same as the quote where the line is copied.

5. Now, right mouse button click on the "Add Product" as shown below.

Option is for the extended paste is enabled as "Special Insert"

6. Click on the option. On doing so, the lines are pasted.

Note:
- Lines pasted have the same line item number
- All the "line number / notes / documents / pricing approval / discounts / review status / report groups" linked with line are also pasted
- If the lines item numbers are already available in the existing quote, a notification will be provided as shown below and the lines will not be pasted

- If the copied lines are from another source quote with the same "Sold to Account", during the special insert the following notification is provided.

- Special insert will work from a single source quote only.
- On a fresh quote, the quote status is also retained as "Approved"
- COMPAS drive documents are not carry forwarded
