Flexible Connectors are specially designed for bus systems where vibration and thermal expansion/contraction is present. They provide a low resistance flex connector between two rigid bus bar sections that have dynamic motion. In Switchboard applications, Flexible Connectors are used to connect a transformer to an incoming or outgoing Switchboard section. The number of flex connectors depends on the incoming amperage.
