What strap kit is used to install a JD breaker in a P4 panelboard?
The catalog number for the strap kit for the thermal magnetic breaker is SJ1. The catalog number for the strap kit for the solid state breaker is SSJ1. The difference is the solid state breaker has the T cut out cover. All the hardware is all the same. This strap kit accepts all ratings allowed in the panelboard and pole configurations. All strap kits are made of copper. The strap kit can be used in aluminum and copper bus panelboards.
