This article details the information on the features and bug fixes released as part of COMPAS knowledge base. Following are released for the month of August 2022.

Switchboard

3VA Breakers

  • Update 600AF 3VA 100% rated lugs to default to CU lugs (CK-3981)

  • Correct pricing issue with 3VA communications when

Drawings

  • Correct electrical view for 3VA IPS Main (CK-3982)

  • Add new symbols to advanced editing view (CK-3982)

  • Add 1.5” & 4.0” CA channel sills (CK-3966)

Configuration

  • Add warning when use existing DAS compartment selected

  • Add IR window selections (CK-3952)

  • Correct width for 3VA52 w/SEM3 (CK-3935)

  • Select pull box when BPS combo with top load busway connection (CK-3971)

Pull Section

  • Add 48W dominion power pull section width and bussed utility width (CK-3988)

Proposal

  • Update to show lightning arrestor on proposal and estimate sheet

Service Section

  • Add 11-D-0697 from 1E-458B (ss 3VA cable feed main panel)

  • Add selections for IR windows (CK-3951)

  • Correct error with right feed thru bus continuity tech review (CK-3987)

WL

  • Add selection + price adder for WL yolk, when draw-out mount (CK-3984)

MODIFICATIONS TO AUXILIARY UNITS

  • Added checkboxes for the following options, each of which will trigger LV Compartment:

    • Current Test Block

    • Voltage Test Block

    • Current Test Switch

    • Voltage Test Switch

    • CT Short Circuiting Terminal Block

  • Added Digital Metering “Device” tab

    • The presence of any digital metering configuration will also trigger LV Compartment

MODIFICATIONS TO LIS UNITS

  • In addition to existing rules, the following selections will now trigger LV Compartment:

    • CT

    • Current Test Block

    • Voltage Test Block

    • Current Test Switch

    • Voltage Test Switch

    • CT Short Circuiting Terminal Block

MODIFICATIONS TO VCB UNITS

  • Default for “2NO+2NC auxiliary switch” is now TRUE (selected checkbox)

New WBV 200-600A Breaker Mains

  • WBV features 3VA molded case circuit breakers

  • Rated 85k and 100k AIC

  • Standard Mains have provision for field installed BSPD Surge Protection device (w/ECBSPDV3 field mount kit)

  • New Lug Landing Pad for use with Standard WBV: LLPV600

MCC
  • Changed from LG breaker to CED6 breaker for VFD 65K 480V G120C 5-10HP high overload and G120 7.5-15HP high overload.

  • PFCC unit TFNM, TFPM Myron Zucker capacitors are obsolete and are replaced by TFNX, TFPX Myron Zucker capacitors which affects PFCC unit sizing.

  • FCB WL circuit breaker is no longer yellow and is now green.

  • MCC level characteristics General Notes Line 1, General Notes Line 2, Shop Notes Line 1, Shop Notes Line 2 now appear on drawing general specification for MCC Unit Only.

  • Added unit oversizing rules for ASI master unit and removed AE required technical review. Added 192VA for CPT demand VA for ASI power supply.

  • ASI master unit when unit size is specified now allows all panel types not just 15 wide and hat shaped.

  • Added Detail A, B, C, D to SPD wiring diagram D68500TV2.

  • Drawing details tab Incoming spec now generates data for two incomings with sub feed MLO.

  • Can now specify 2S1W, 2S2W low speed and high-speed KW units like HP units.

  • Disallowed elapsed time meter in 6-inch-high density unit.

  • No longer able to add a meter unit from a MCC space unit. No longer able to add an option from a MCC unit only space unit.

  • Added notes T4 - stationary power terminal blocks are provided for starter units through size 3. power terminal blocks are not provided for larger sizes.

  • T5 - screw stationary power terminal blocks are provided for starter units through size 3. power terminal blocks are not provided for larger sizes.

  • Added characteristic Option Code to drawing details Layout tab for COMPAS OE config xml.
