COMPAS KB Release : January 2023

This article details the information on the features and bug fixes released as part of COMPAS knowledge base. Following are released for the month of January 2023.

Transformer

1. Sentron Power Centers: Updated only 5 KVA models to correctly show Copper Windings on base model.

• 1LPC005 series is standard with CU windings – all others require “CU” at end of part number for Copper Windings.
• Others affected: 1LPC005SS, 1LPC005JA, and 1LPC005JASS  (…JA… family has bolt-on interiors)
• FYI: To get Copper windings a Manual line is needed. (1LPC007CU has Copper windings)

2. Ship to State Entry: Entry is no longer required.

• This has been eliminated to save time since it is no longer used to select series.

3. Temp Rise for Encapsulated Transformers: Corrections made to match SpeedFax. (added 95C for units 1kva and smaller and also 135C where needed)

• This has been corrected for all families: Dry Type, Overseas Models, Motor Drive isolation and Dual Purpose.
• The Dropdown list is now in order of Highest Temp Rise to Lowest. So the default lowest cost is at the top of the list.
• Default Temp Rise is set automatically once all required fields are picked.

4. Transformer Tap corrected: 3B5Y was 3B5R for 15-150kva Ventilated Dry Type to match SpeedFax.
