PowerMod

.

PowerMod update Defaults for DAS - See below: (ref. BTKB-824) (BTPROG-2308)

  • Change default for all Breaker types of devices with DAS option.  If 1200A or higher MB – set default to Maintenance Mode = “TRUE”.

  • this will reduce errors where this check box is not set properly.

  • Note: If Catalog number without DAS is selected for 1200A or higher – this will result in a conflict.  The Maintenance mode checkbox will have to be unchecked to resolve the conflict or select a DAS mode device 1200A or higher.

Phase-Out of all TPS3/ASCO/First Surge products

  • This is for information only.  No specific action has been taken during this release.

  • This is in progress and in the near future some red lining of quotes that include Surge products being phased out will be seen. Details of this activity will be published in other locations.

  • This is to make users aware that the transition to TPS4/Raycap Products is not yet complete.

COMPAS Maintenance items:

  • Resi Stacks – remove default for Horn By-Pass (BTKB-845)

  • Conflict removed; all Surge Devices are now allowed to be at the end of a lineup.

  • Rules for line-ups with either spacer, elbow or Surge module at end have been changed from a conflict to simply an error message/note for only spacer and elbow.

Center-Fed Main and Tap Box Conflict Discussion

  • For each Lineup, a Center-fed module Note/message will be visible, reminding users of the Max. Cross bus limit.

  • Note: “Center Fed Main Modules and Tap Boxes that allow over 1200 Amps Line Side Current must be reviewed.  It is Engineer/Customer responsibility to configure and ensure the 1200A max Cross bus limit is not exceeded on either side the main or tap box.”

  • Typically, at least one “load type” of device must be on either side of the center-fed device to ensure that the 1200A max. cross bus is not exceeded, but in cases where there is Feed-thru capability, this rule is not necessarily valid.

  • At this time the conflict is still in place, but we are looking into a better solution in the near future.
