COMPAS Go Release : September 02, 2020

This articles details the information on the knowledge base releases for the month of September 2020 for Transformer.

  • The Transformer configurator will resolve to a specific catalog number in the configuration view.  If the catalog number or material number exists in the COMPAS Product Catalog, then the material number appears on the quote line.  See lines 1000 & 1001 below.

  • However, if that material does not exist in the COMPAS Product Catalog, then it will not ‘typematch’ so the material shown on the quote line is TYZ:17_Transformer.  See line 1100 below.

    • The  Technical Review Status = "Required" which must be resolved before Price Approval

  • The rules have been changed to be sure the price for TYZ:17_Transformer = $0 even when Lug Kits or Wall Brackets are specified.  Before this change, the price of these options would appear in TYZ:17_Transformer, well under the correct total price for the transformer and options.

  • Reminder: When TYZ:17_Transformer appears, this line will be rejected at technical review.  Replace with TYZ:Manual_Line for product family =Transformers.  This line can be added by a Siemens sales engineer.   They can request a quote and lead time for the requested transformer and then update the quote line for Manual Line.
